I decided to begin this forum because I believe although IELTS topics should be easily understood by all students, many learners have faced problems with understanding and analyzing of IELTS topics.
However, this task could not be fulfilled without participation in discussion of testbig readers.

Some people believe that modern designs for schools and offices with more open spaces are necessary.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of such spaces?
Give your opinion.
Analysis:
1) merits and shortages of open spaces for studying and working.
What is "open space in a building?" it is a big area without walls and limitations.
the first para of body: advantages
-good for productivity-all work is done in front of others, no way to be lazy and play angry birds.
-allows save money on electricity bills because light from windows makes working for many people convenient, no need to install elaborate an air conditioning system.
the second para of body: DISadvatages.
- psychological discomfort-feeling of being exposed to others, necessity interact with others.
- open spaces must be well-design so, high expenditures on the project and design, expensive to renovate.
