Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given process illustrates the procedure for recycling bottles made of plastic.
Overall, there are 9 steps in the process, beginning with discarding bottles in waste baskets and finishing with manufacturing finished products. It is also noticeable that the entire process is repetitive.
In the beginning, wasted bottles are thrown into designated bins for recycling. Then they are transported to the recycling center by a big truck. After being placed in the recycling point, they undergo a sorting step into two categories: recyclables and non-recyclables. Next the bottles are compressed into large cubic blocks and later crushed by two major wheels to become small bits, being thoroughly washed.
In the sixth step of the process, the tiny pieces of plastic are placed into a big machine to make plastic pellets. Then they are heated at a high temperature to become raw materials for various products. Next the raw materials are tied, packed and put on a platform, ready to be transferred to factories. Different kinds of products are made from the original materials, such as containers, clothes, pencils and bags. After being used, the products are discarded into recycling bins and the process repeats.
