The road from a beginner to an expert is tough, being persistent is the key. The prompt suggests that in any field of inquiry, beginners contributes much more than the expert. In my opinion, this statement is absurd and obscure, for few following reasons.
The level of experience an expert has is immeasurable when compared with a rookie. For example, In the Stock market if a beginner tries to contribute and tries to put forth their thesis on investing in certain stocks, perhaps when compared to an expert who has much more experience as compared could give better suggestions on investing. Thus in my opinion, there should be much more heft to the speech offered by an expert.
Suppose in an airport there are help desk with novice staffs, then there is a high possibility that if someone asks for help they won’t be able to correctly guide them. On the other hand, help desk having expert and erudite staffs will be more likely to make important contributions. Thus in my opinion experts provide much more contributions than beginners in the field of inquiry.
When it comes to comparison between skill or experience, perhaps there is a high possibility that experience holds water. For example, In a certain company there is a task to be done urgently without making any subtleties, and there are only two employees to choose from one having experience of years in the company and one who is a fresher, there is a high probability that the manager elects the one having higher experience. Thus in my opinion experience and skill, rather expert and beginner cannot be distinguishable.
However, in some scenarios if the beginner in a field has better theorotical knowledge than the expert it might help in contribution to some extent but, in the long run it will reach a plateau where expert contributions will hold much more weightage than a rookie.
