The exposure to some international media, such as films, TVs and magazines, has a significant impact on the local culture. To what exteny do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

Accompanying dramatic improvement of living standards in modern society, there are increasingly number of new international media and they bring many different new cultures to different place, therefore, the opposite effctions to local cultures are created with the broadcast of international cultures. We all hold the expection that only positive influence occures, though, it is a fact that side effection is a consequence of international media ,too.

Initially, mass media enrich local cultures and benefits to dwellers' daily life. For instance, watching a movie and reading newspaper have become the necessary and we can keep pace with world process through getting the latest news from those media. It is hard to imagine that but for films, how could we enjoy all kinds of other national cultures just at home.

Inevitably, those innovations tale our quality of life to a higher level and it is crucial to traditional cultures. Howevers, disadvantage always accompanys with the production new inventions, international media is included. A new culture brought by mass media is a heavy strick to local culture. If ther is no an efficient measure to coroperate them, because of the powerful life of new inventions, then the fact is that local culture fail to survive continuely. A group of date illustrates that under the forcement of new culture, majority of national culture have gone and those the one and only culture just can be enjoyed in history. So, international media has its own drawbacks.

Overall, propelling factors is essential to those new things. In my opinion, the international media has more benefits than drawbacks, while in some area of threating localculture,national and local government should pursue policies to coordinate new culture and old culture to show their advantages respectively for leading a prospective future.
