There is a fluctuation trend with the highest numbers of units of electricity between 12am and 15 pm with 20’000 units and between 21pm and 24pm at the same number in summer. While, the trend for winter follow a sinus pattern and units of electricity are fluctuated between 30’000 and 40’000 units until 12am and then remain stable around 40’000 units. There is a sharp drop from 21pm to 24pm and decline to almost 35’000 units in winter.
Furthermore, the pie chart displays that the category which is included heating rooms and water, has highest percentage with 52.2% for using electricity. Second category has only 17.5% of using electricity and two other categories are matched with 15%.
In conclusion, it is clear that the reason why the demands for electricity in England during typical days in winter are higher than summer is related to the percentage of heating room and water which use more than 52.2 percent of total electricity used in England.
