There has always been debate about subject of imparting moral values into youngsters is primary role of their guardians or academic institutions. This essay will analyze this issue and conclude with opinion.
Parents have duty towards grooming their wards to better citizen of the country. They are primary role models and closest friends to their offspring. Children look unto them before taking important decisions. So, each action taken by parents form sense of judgement in minds of children. In addition, their progress is monitored by caretaker to ensure that they don't fall prey to bad habits such as smoking, drug abuse or bad company. Indeed, it can be suggested that amount of quality time spent by elders with their child go a long way in forming good habits.
Nevertheless, it does not mean that role of school is less important in letting our young adults to become pillar of society. These centers form primary source of learning and their curriculum includes courses of science and history. School goers learn about great leaders of past, present and develop habit of critical thinking and research. Children spent most of their days in school where they pass number of exams, make assignments, undergo group study, give presentations.Furthermore, they also gain qualities such as patience, discipline, tolerance, hard work which naturally lends towards making them leaders of tomorrow.
To sum up, it would not be wrong to suggest that only combined effort of both parents and school can help children becoming essential part of society.
