The 2 maps illustrates the present state of the middle of a little town known as Islip and how it will appear after reconstruction.
Presently, the town centre location is characterized by a few houses, a school and a park at the south. Coming from the west, there is a main road which has shops in opposite sides . In addition, there is a countryside at the northern part of the town.
On the other hand, the town promises to be more improved in terms of infrastructures. This is evident in the second map where a dual carriageway will be created. The initial main road shall be converted to pedestrian lane and retaining the shops by its south. Crossing over to the north, there is a bus station, shopping centre, car park and new housing. Furthermore, the school and the former housing by the south will still remain.
