This bar chart compares the percentage of people doing physical exercise in terms of gender and age in Australia in 2010. As is shown in the chart, there are six groups from the age of 15, which can be divided into three types according to their features.
To begin, men did more physical activity regularly than women aging between 15 and 24, at 52.8% and 47.7% respectively. And men reached their peak of all ages.
In the second type, including four groups from 25 to 64, women achieved much higher percentage in doing regular exercise than men. This can be noticeably seen in the group of 35 to 44, and there were 52.5% of women while less than 40% (39.5) of men (the lowest for men of all ages). In addition, the age of 45 to 55 witnessed women`s highest percentage at 53.3%, with the lowest emerging from 25 to 34 at 42.2%.
Finally men and women were of almost the same percentage in the group of 65 and over, where there was only difference of 0.4 percentage.
To sum up, Australian women participated more physical activity regularly than men in 2010.
