The bar chart compares the proportion of three different types of companies that maintained a presence of social media in a four year period starting from 2012. Overall, the first rank in terms of using belonged to large business and both types of them make the most extensive use in 2016.
Starting with 2012, 2013 and 2014. The percentage of using social media in large business in 2012 was nearly 80% which was the highest, in comparison to about 28% in the small one, and slightly over 30% in the medium. After two year, a slight upward trend to 35% and 50% was seen in the proportion of small and medium companies, respectively whereas that for the other was mostly unchanged.
Regarding to two remained years. 2015 witnessed a significant declined in both types of business, while the percentage of the small and medium were equal at 30%, that for the large one was nearly around 52%. This rising trend would then resume in the final year, resulting in the recovery to around 50% in 2016 for both.
