The bar chart describes the electricity production and utilization made by ten nations in 2014. Overall, it can be seen that China was the highest in both generation and usage while Korea Rep was the lowest. All countries, except for Germany, had more amount in production than consumption.
At the first place was China which generated and utilized approximately 5000 billion kWh. In the next position was United States, with production amount of about 4000 billion kWh and consumption amount of 3866 billion kWh. After China and United States there was a huge difference in both generation and utilization amount, where the countries produced and consumed less than a half of China and United States' amount. Russia, Japan, India, and Canada only generated approximately 600 billion kWh to 1000 billion kWh, and utilized about 490 billion kWh to 1000 billion kWh, respectively.
On the other hand, France, Brazil, and Germany had similar amount of both production and consumption, which was more than 450 billion kWh and less than 620 kWh. At the last place was Korea Rep. which produced 485.1 billion kWh and used 449.5 billion kWh. All nations, except for Germany, generated more electricity than utilized it.
