During 2001, teachers in Japan, Spain, and Iceland spent around 600 hours to teach the primary level students, while in the USA the duration of teaching hours was the highest, accounting for 750 hours. Coming to the Lower Secondary school, again the USA took the first position with 1000 hours, but when it comes to the other three nations, they were below 800 number of hours.
Turning to the upper secondary, the least number of hours were spent in Japan, which accounted for 700 hours. Coming to Spain and Iceland, time spending to teach the students was approximately constant just with the minor difference of 10 hours duration, but the USA held the top position in the teaching hours which were near 1200 hours.
Overall, the USA was the toppest country for providing education to the students in all the levels of school than Japan, Spain, and Iceland.
