The two provided bar charts elucidate the proportion of both genders in employment in Canada, South Korea, and Sweden during 2005 and 2015.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the amount of percentage in men’s employment outweighed the proportion of women in employment during both years 2005 and 2015.
In 2005, Sweden had the largest amount of percent in male employment, at almost 80%. In comparison, the percentage of female’s employment rate was about 45% in the same country. South Korea had the least amount of proportion women’s employment rate, with just 30%, compared to the figure for male in employment which was 75%. The percents of males and females in employment in Canada were 62% and 39% respectively.
During 2015, the situation had changed. The region which had the most percentage of employment rate in men was South Korea, as opposed to the figure for women in the same field, 35%, which was also the least proportion during this period. Canada and Sweden had the same amount of percents of employment in males which was 70%. Otherwise, the proportion of female’s employment rate in Canada and Sweden were 55% and 50% in turn.
