The bar chart illustrate the proportions of three major living problems, faced by citizens of seven cities of the UK, in 2008.
Overall, it can be seen that Belfast was facing the most problems regarding to health services and education & training while least air pollution was found in Newcastle. Furthermore, health services and education & training were facing highest issues compared to air pollution which was minimal in all the cities.
In terms of health services problems, Belfast had the highest proportion of complains at just under 60 percent followed by Cardiff and Birmingham, where the percentage was around 55 percent for both cities. It is also noticeable that all the cities were showing above 50 percent problems in health service except for Glasgow for which percentage was just under 50 percent. On the other hand, Problems with education & training in all the cities were around 50 percent except for Manchester and Newcastle, for both of them it was around 45 percent.
With regards to air pollution, Manchester was leading at about 18 percent while all the other cities had the index close to 10 percent. Newcastle was showing least concern about air pollution, at about 5 percent.
