The given chart demonstrates the comsuming habit of American at three type of unhealthy nutrients: sodium, saturated fats and added sugar in their daily meal.
In general, most types of these nutrients are using more at dinner and lunch than at other meals while the least amount of them are eaten at breakfast.
The highest amount of salt is consumed at dinner at 43%, followed by lunch at 29%. The sodium in snack have the same amount with the one that American using at breakfast at 14%. People love eating foods containing saturated fat at dinner the most. The percentage of fat eaten at dinner accounts for 37%, while the figure at lunch and breakfast is 26% and 16%. Saturated fat in snack records at 21%. The last nutrient mentioned in the report is added sugar, 42% of daily total consumption is in snack. The proportion of sugar eaten at dinner, lunch and breakfast is 23%, 19% and 16% relatively. Only at added sugar does the amount in snack surpass the amount that American using at dinner.
