The chart below shows the annual number of rentals and sales( in various formats) of film from a particular store between 2002 and 2011.Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The given bar graph provides information about the rentals and sales of different products (VHS, DVD, and Blu ray) from a specific store from 2000 to 2011.

Overall it can be clearly seen that, in initial year, there was the highest number of rentals, whereas the sales of formats lowest in annual number in the same period.

it is crystal clear that, in the starting 2 years the number of rentals was approximately similar which was around 175,000, was going to downward trend constantly and till the year of 2011, it remained nearly one third (55000) of the period of 2002.

Moving further, the demand of VHS format was more than 80,000 in numbers over the period of 2002, dropped dramatically after one year and recorded as over 60,000 followed by DVD products which were sold in the number of less than 50,000, increased sharply and crossed the data of 100,000. However, from 2002 to 2006 there was no demand of blu-ray format, but in the same period above 200,000 DVD players had been sold which started decreasing from 2008 and remained exact 180,000 in numbers till the last year, whilst there was nominal sale of blu-ray format in the same period.
