The chart below depicts the alteration in house prices during twelve years from 1990 to 2002 in five different cities throughout the globe in comparison with 1989.
It is distinctively transparent that some cities underwent decrease in house prices between 1990 and 1995. The average house values decline in both London and Tokyo by 7 percent, and also New York had a drop by 5 percent. Conversely, from 1990 to 1995 cities like Madrid and Frankfort experience a growth in average house prices respectively by approximately 2 and 3 percent.
When it comes to period between 1996 and 2002 the inflation is a distinctive phenomenon in comparison with 1989. Hence, Tokyo had a dramatic rise in average house values by almost 12 percent, while other cities like New York, Madrid and Frank Fort similarly resemble a small scale rise in prices respectively by 5, 4 and 2 percent. Finally, Tokyo again repeated almost similar trend during 1996 to 2002 by 5 percent decrease in house prices.
To sum up, it is somehow manifest that the average house values have followed an upward trend between 1996 and 2002 when we compare with 1989. Of course, it is a natural incident by global boom in the population.
