The presented bar graph elucidates how many passengers are transported by 3 various main airports in New York City, namely John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark over the period of six years, starting from 1995 to 2000. Units are measured in millions of passengers for each one year.

The most striking feature to be observed is that, in the number of passengers who travelled via LaGuardia and Newark airports experienced an upward trend, except for John F. Kennedy. In addition, the LaGuardia accounted for the highest quantity of travelers in terms of the transportation throughout this period.

Looking at the data in more details, it is evident that there was a significant upsurge for John F. Kennedy airport transportation in the first 3 years, in which, stood at about 26m in 1995 and then increased remarkably to reach the highest point of 47m in 1997. In 1999, the figure plunged tremendously to 32m and at the last year, traveler numbers rose to 44m. On the other hand, LaGuardia began at 35m in 1995, after that it rose remarkably for the next four years, at 50m. In 2000, LaGuardia hit the peak point at 68m travelers.

Turning to rest of description, Newark airport started at the lowest point of 16m passengers in the first year. After this point, the trend increased significantly to 42m in 1998. In the last two years it remained stable at 42m travelers.
