The given chart illustrates the proportion of adults of various age groups who surfing the internet on daily basis in an England during 4 years from 2003 to 2006.
It is evident from the chart that the 60% people of 16-24 age group spent their time on Internet daily in the year 2003 as well as 2004. In addition to it, maximum users of Internet were observed in 2005 (almost 70%) which was slightly more than the users in 2006 (approximately 65%). On contrary, Internet used by adults of the age group 25-44 accounts for substantial growth with the year that was under 60%.
Besides this, in 2003, 40% adults used the internet everyday whereas, in the next three years, the per centum of internet users remained almost same which was 50%. Moreover, the percentage of 55-64 age group who using the internet went up over the given period with slight fluctuations and reached to almost 40% in the last year. However, people of age more than 66 were less users of internet over the period.
Overall, it can be clear from the chart that adults of early age group were surfing the internet more as compared to elder people ,while chart shows erratic trend along the period in the UK.
