The grouped bar chart illustrates the outcome of a survey on the habits of purchasing and using coffee and tea as taken by residents of five different Australian cities.
In terms of the order of popularity, stopping by a cafe was the most prevalent way to have coffee or tea in almost all the surveyed cities, except for Adelaide, where buying isntant coffee was slightly more common. Next in frequency, for the four states, was purchasing instant coffee, although with varying differences from going to a cafe.
Further, the overall popularity of consuming coffee or tea by the chosen habits varied within the five cities. Of those, Melbourne was seen most engaging in the habits in question, with 65 per cent of its population consuming the two beverages in a cafe. On the other hand, the correspondent percentage in Adelaide was almost 50.
Overall, coffee and tea consumption was popular in the five Australian cities under study. The most predominant way of doing so in most cases was going to a cafe.
