The chart below shows the value of one country s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016 The table shows the percentage change in each category or exports in 2016 compared with 2015
The given bar chart details the statistical information on the earnings made by a particular country from the export of five different freights, while the table reveals the proportional change in the value of the same from 2015 to 2016.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that despite a significant change in the export trend of all the commodities, the petroleum products continued to lead the entire chart. Also, the export value in all but one of the five product categories increased.
According to the given illustration, more than $60 billion was earned from petroleum and the engineered goods in 2016, an increment of nearly $2 and $3 billion respectively from each. Also, whilst the textile sales rose up to $30 billion from $25 billion(the largest turnover during the given period), the agricultural products witnessed a slight uptick to $32 billion, up by a billion only. However, in contrast, the gem and jewelry section plunged close to $40 billion, a decline of nearly $2 billion.
Turning to the table, although the textile export went up by a maximum of $15.24% as against 3% in the petroleum products, 8.5% in the engineered goods, and .81% in the agricultural goods, it remained at the lowest rank in the chart throughout the period. Furthermore, followed by a reverse trend, gem, and jewelry plummeted down by a decline of 5.18%.
