Overall, North America and Europe are use water for industrial purposes while the other regions have major consumption for Agriculture and tiny amount for other purposes.
The graph clearly shows that North America and Europe consume around 50% of water in industry. However, Africa and central Asia on use 7% and 5% in industry respectively, which is small proportion of water. South East Asia and South America need 12% and 10% respectively water in their industry.
However, Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia have consumed more than 80% their water for agriculture sector. While, in other regions, it is under 40%. For domestic consumption, Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia only need less than 10% and North America and North America have need 13% and 19% respectively. Europe consumes 15% of water for domestic needs.
To sum up, agriculture sector is major consumer of water.
