It is clear that the largest percentage of water in South America, Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia is used for agricultural purpose while the majority of water consumption in Europe and North America for industrial activities.
The utilization of water for farming has the highest proportion in Central Asia for about 88%. It is followed by Africa, South East Asia and South America with 84%, 81% and 74% respectively. In contrast, the consumption of water for fabrication process reach the largest in Europe and North America with 53% and 48% consecutively.
The proportion of water usage for domestic use has the lowest point in all areas that accounted for below 20% with the smallest in Central Asia and South East Asia. Interestingly, in South America the water usage in South America for household aim two times higher than for industrial use with 19%.
