Given is the graph depicting evolutions of horses from 40 million years ago to this day and age.
It is perceptible that it took 40,000 centuries for the ancestor of horses to develop to the modern shape. The Horse has the strongest leg structure while the Eohippus’s leg is the weakness.
Eohippus existed in the early stage of the Earth, this animal possessed a small body, especially, its legs have the same structure as human beings nowadays-distinct with each other but have sharp claws . In the next 10 million year-period, Eohippus had become much bigger and people called by the name Mesohippus, but the most remarkable ident was the foot. Moreover, two of five toes vanished from its foot, and claws were also bigger.
After being a prevailing horse, there was another stage of development. Scientists called the Mesohippus after 15 million years by the name Merychippus. However, there was almost no changes in the total structure except the middle toe was more clear and easy to see by sight. It is conspicuous that the modern horse has the most robust body, and the feet now are very concrete with just one big toe , therefore, it is suitable with the prevailing surroundings.
