The diagram below shows the average hours of unpaid work per week done by people in different categories. (Unpaid work refers to such activities as childcare in the home, housework and gardening.)
The given bar graph presents information on average weekly unpaid work done by married men and women with different number of children and without children.
As can be clearly seen form the graph, married women with children spend more time than without children as the bar shows while having more than three children have invested nearly 60 hours of unpaid work. Married females who do not have child do around 30 hours unpaid work weekly, while, male from same category do only nearly 18 hours of work.
Furthermore, Women, who have 1-2 children do doubled hours above 50 hours unpaid work compare to without children category, while, men form same category do only 17 hours.women with 3 plus children spend approximately 60 hours but males work does not change with 3 plus children.
In conclusion, I can say that volume of unpaid work such as household work and child caring increase for females with number of children.
