Looking at the information in more detail, corn must first be harvested and stored before being milled into powder, which is mixed with water afterwards. The resulting mixture is then cooked for 24 hours. Following this, it undergoes another 48 hours of the fermentation process. At this point, liquid ethanol is produced and extracted from the fermented mixture, whereas solid by-products are eliminated.
During the following stage of the process, raw ethanol is passed through 5 hours of purification, which removes any impurities. Finally, complete ethanol fuel is stored for a short period of time before being delivered to retail shops, where it is ready to be sold.
