The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.
The picture represents the production process of electricity through a Geothermal power plant.
In general, there are 5 stages of production. The process starts by using cold water and finishes by producing electricity through a turbine.
In the first stage of production, cold water is filled in a small tank and pumped into the ground through a pipe. After that, cold water is injected into the geothermal zone by separating it into three small pipes.
After passing through the geothermal zone contained by hot rocks, water is pumped up through a pipe for hot water and reaches the condenser. The condenser then uses the amount of hot water from the ground to generate clouds. Clouds are steamed in order to create energy for the generator turbine to produce electricity.
