The given diagram gives information about how electricity is produced by water. It is a complex process consists of different steps, which we can discuss below.
Firstly water from the sea got evaporated due exposure to heat from the sun. This particles forms clouds and scattered by the wind. At a stage the cloud will melt and cause rain, eventually the rain water got trapped in reservoir of dams. Water from the reservoir is passed through ducts to the generators, the flow can be adjusted using valves. By the means of water power the generators work and resulted in electricity production.
Water from the generator passed to pumps, then return to the reservoir and this cycle continued. On the other hand the power produced is transfered to substations, from there further distributed by underground cables. Finally from the cables domestic, hospitals as well as factories receive electricity.
Overall, manufacturing of electricity by means of water power not only influenced by the machineries; but nature also plays a best role in terms of availing water needed.
