The diagram below shows the stages and equipment used in the cement making process and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes

The given diagram details the step by step procedure to produce cement by using multiple varieties of machines, which is further used to produce concrete as shown in the other picture. The whole process is discussed below in detail.

Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the process passes through many stages starting from crushing the collected mixture and ending with the packing of cement to be used to create concrete.

According to the given illustration, first of all, the collected raw material as limestone and clay is crushed in a crusher to its powder form. Next, on the processing path, powder encounters a mixer before entering into a rotating heater, which is kept heated under the flame. Thereafter, the heated mixture produced in the previous step is ground in a grinder to produce cement as the final product. Finally, cement is stored in bags to be carried to produce concrete.

In the next phase, four different raw materials are mixed in variable proportions in a concrete mixer. To start with 50% of gravel(a mixture of small stones), the maximum of all the materials, followed next by sand that accounts for 25%, cement and water make up about 15% and 10% share respectively. In the end, once blended properly, we are left with the resulted product as concrete to be used for construction purposes.
