The diagram given depicts the process of recycling drinking cans made of aluminium.
It is clear from the diagram that there are several steps required to recycle aluminium cans. Additionally, the process commences with the collection of waste and ends with the production of new cans.
In the initial stage, waste cans are collected and delivered by a truck to a factory where it is deposited. Then, they are cleaned up by being watered to remove dusts. The subsequent step is called crush, at which the cans are crushed and the factory starts to process all of them by using chemicals to erase and sterilise.
The recycling continues with the stage at which the sterile cans are heated in high temperature to be changed them into the liquid state. Subsequently, after being fused, the aluminium is mounded to make special shapes and put on a scale in order to be weighted. During the next stage, the aluminium is brought into a machine called rolling where it is rolled. Finally, producers use the rolled material to manufacture new cans.
