It is perceptible that this is a linear process with multiple steps, which commences with harvesting the ripe red pods from cacao trees and ends at producing liquid chocolate.
Initially, the rind is reaped from cacao trees which are grown mainly in South America, Africa and Indonesia. The second stage is that the white cacao beans are stripped (removed, torn, seperated, pulled out of…) from the outers, followed by a period of fermentation with beans covered by banana leaves. After that, fermented beans are naturally dried under the sunshine by being spread. Thenceforth, they are divided into each 64-kg sack before being delivered by trains or trucks to the factory. Shortly afterwards, they are roasted under 350 degree celsius with the support of the roaster, which are crushed to remove the shells in the subsequent mashing stage. Ultimately, liquid chocolate is made after inner parts are pressed as the last phase of the process.
