The diagrams below show the design for a wave energy machine and its location Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The given diagram represents a wave-energy machine and the optimum place it should be located. The machine itself consists of various modules and tools and is divided into two chambers based on the air flow and wave input.

The two turbines play a significant role in the machine. They are connected together in such a way that they are facing opposite sides. They control the flow of the air that enters the machine from both the chambers.

The machine has two valves at the top that administer the air flow that is entering and exiting the machine. These valves are located above the generator and turbines. The bottom half of the machine has a section where it traps the waves that enter the system and two vents that part the two chambers and allow air flow.

The upper body of the machine consists of an electricity generator and a valve that acts as a doorway for air to enter and encounter the turbine which consequently shifts the direction of the flow of the said air in such a way that the air exits into the water levels or water collected in the bottom part of the machine.

The lower half of the machine takes in the wave through the chamber locate below . The water collected forces a burst of air into the turbine which, like before, alters the flow direction so that the air exits through the valve placed above the turbine, into the atmosphere.

The output of the machines is directly proportional to the length of the waves it works with. But, the installation costs are increasing with the output production. Hence, the location selection should be selected based on the requirements of the user. Customers who desire heavy budget combined with high output rates should install their machines deep in the sea where the waves are large and vice versa.
