The diagrams illustrates the life cycle of samon which account for a type of big fishe.
Overall, there are three stages in the process, begiing with breeding eggs under small stones beside the reeds. Furthermore, it took approximately 9 to 10 years for turning an egg into an adult salmon.
To begin with, adult salmons lay eggs under small stones among the reeds in upper river. After passing approximately 5 to 6 months these eggs turn to fry with the size of 3 to 8 cm. Next, the fries swim towards the lower river where the current is faster. Prior to moving to the open sea they stay in this area for 4 years to grow older and reach the average length of 14cm. In this stage of their life they are called smolt. Finally, it took 5 years for smolts to be adults reach to 76cm length when they swim back to the upper river where slow moving current made a proper condition for breeding.
