Supermarkets are increasing in some region with which little shops found it unbeatable. Some believe that local communities will be disappear if small shops stop serving. I completely support this point of view for some reasons.
To begin with, small business are bearing the symbol of one's tradition and if it get closed, our tradition will fall in danger. To illustrate, little shops in any locality contains mostly the local items which is a part of that tradition. If this business is being closed, and a supermarket build instead there will not be any sign of local tradition remained. Therefore, the tradition will be forgotten and digitalization would take place of this. Furthermore, there will no uniqueness across one country or even world. Provided that, every cities are having super shops and there is not a single small shop around, this shop will sell standard products which is almost similar all across the country. For example, in my city, Sylhet, have three super shop, when i visited Dhaka which is more than 200 miles away, I noticed that almost all items are available in Dhaka's supermarket. Based on this, we can easily imagine that there will be no differences among the cities.
However, super shops also bear some advantages that should not be ignored. Firstly, its provide products after collecting from various nations which is impossible for small shops. Agora, a super shop in my area, for instance, serve some baby foods that is not available in the small shops. In addition, the super shop have their return policy which is also a great facility. As a result, we can receive its of foreign products and if damage we can return them.
In conclusion, the importance of supermarkets cannot be denied, but to keep our tradition safe, and manage a uniqueness amongst regions, we should care about small business.
