In the visual illustration below; there's the function of the Hydro-electric power generation.
what can be depicted in the diagram is the sun heating the sea water until it reaches boiling point resulting in: Evaporation. this causes the clouds to pour rain in the reservoirs that contain a manmade dam. Therefore the water gets through the Valve to either two ways; one way is by travelling from the turbine than the pump back to the reservoir creating a small cycle. However, the other route is from the turbine to high voltage cables. Then the water will be transported to the transformer station where it goes through underground tunnels referred to as "cables" to building such as: hospitals, schools, houses and factories.
