The graph below show the average monthly temperature in three major cities.
The line chart compares the monthly temperatures in 3 African cities namely Mombasa, Kenya; Cario, Egypt; and Cape Town, South Africa. Each unit is measured in dgree of fahrenheit.
As can be seen from the graph, there is a general fluctuation in all 3 cities. Especially, the most striking feature is that Mombasa , Kenya is the hottest in most of the months; whereas, Cario, Egypt fluctuates more significantly than the others.
In fact, standing at 80 in the first month, Mombasa increases slightly to over 80 before falling sharly by approximately 10 July. Then, a minimal growth of 5 is recorded in the next 5 months and reaches the peak at 80 in December.
Interestingly, the 2 cities Cario and South Africa follow the 2 opposite trends in all years. When it comes to Cape Town, it levels off at 70 in January-February. Meanwhile, Egypt rises gradually at the same time, followed by a dramatic increase to over 80 in July- the highest point in all time. In contrast, Egypt’s temperature hits the lowest figure of 55. Coming to the remaining 5 months, these 2 cities witnesses a steep decline to under 70 and 60, respectively
