A glance at the provided line graph illustrates the figures on average in millions of the British travelers going by car, bus, or train each day from 1970 until the prediction in 2030.
It is clearly apparent that car was reported and will be projected as the most popular transportation among the commuters. In addition, while the usage of bus for travelling showed a downward trend and was predicted to decline, the use of car and train reported the opposite.
Looking in more detail, in 1970, the number of commuters who choosed car was reported at arround 5 millions which surpassed the other mode of transportations. The figures then increased significantly and predicted to reach 9 millions in 2030. The same pattern observed in those who traveling by train. Although it only showed at 2 millions in the beginning of the periods, it climbed gradually and reach plateau in 3 millions in 2000 to 2010. The figures then projected to jump considerably by approximately 2 millions. Finally, the number of commuters who use bus decreased marginally from 4 millions in 1970 to the prediction number at 3 millions.
