The amount of beef used started from ever two hundred grams por person in 1979, then it fluctuated until 1989, and significantly decreased to around 100 grams per person per week in 2004. Likewise, approximately 150 grams of chicken and lamb were eaten in the first year after which the first product steadily increased up to 250 grams, while the second gradually declined to almost 50 grams in 2004.
