The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004
The line chart provided illustrates how many grams of four different type of meats ware consumed by people in a Europe nation in a week from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, it is evident that the number of consumption of three types of meat (chicken, beef, and lamp) experienced a fluctuation, while the trend of fish was slightly changed.
Generally, fish was the only kind of meat that does not experience a fluctuation trend during the period. In the initial year, it stood at just above 50 grams and ending the time with just below 50 grams.
beef, on the other hand, started the period as the highest figure (just above 200 grams). From 1979 and 1984, the number fluctuated and then remain stable at around 235 grams between 1985 and 1987. Following that, the consumption of beef exponentially decreased to about 100 grams at the end of the reported year. Lamb, however, revealed exponentially changed during the period. it stood at 150 grams in 1979 and decreased to almost threefold at the end of the period.
In 1979, the chicken was not a popular kind of meat consumed in a European country. it accounted much smaller (80 grams) compare to beef when the period started. however, between 1979 and 1989, the figure of chicken increased gradually and surpassed the figure of beef in 1990, accounted for around 210 grams. Afterward, the number of consumed chicken fluctuated and reached the highest figure at around 260 grams in the 2000s, and ending the period with 250 grams.
