The chart demonstrates how many questions were taken by the Tourist Information Office in a city varying in different ways by letter/email, in person or by telephone over the course of six months, from January to June in the year 2011.
Looking from the graph, it is immediately obvious that the number of queries received by phone and face to face increased significantly. On the other hand, there was a moderate fall in the figure for letter/email about enquiries.
As can be seen from the chart, the amount of questions were asked in person rose considerably from just over 400 questions to nearly 1900 questions in June. While the figure for telephone was fluctuated slightly until April, at 1000 inquiries, and then peaked at a high point of 1600 inquiries at the end of the period shown.
There was a steady fluctuation in the amount of queries asked by letter/email over the first two months, ranging between well under 800 and almost 700 queries. The figure then saw a sharp decline in the number of questions received by the Office from March to May, at just under 400 questions, and then remained stable during the last two months.
