The maps given illustrates the expansion of the Ryemouth village. Overall, the village has changed dramatically since 1995, with the disappearance of the fishing port and the update of infrastructures and housing systems along with some new entertainment.
On the map from 1995, the village north-east was home to a large farmland and a forest park. However, they were entirely replaced with new tennis courts and a huge golf yard. Looking to the southeast side of the village, it is clear that the hotel and the coffee remain intact while a brand new car park was built next to the hotel.
During that period, the housing systems were also improved with a new road heading to the west of the town and two house along with the road. Although the northwest of the town did not saw any reconstruction or replacement, the southern part met heavy modifications. First, the fishing industry were completely destroyed, with the deconstruction of the fishing port and a apartment system replacing the fish market in its location. Second, the old shops from 1995 were modified into modern restaurant
