The maps below show a bookstore in 2000 and now.
Given are the two maps contrasting the layouts of an undetermined bookstore between 2000 and to date.
It is conspicuous that the interior structure of the store underwent several changes in the consolidation of certain book sections and adding more new services for visitors.
In the past, a large L-shaped area along the entire north and half of the right-hand side wall was wholly reserved for the widespread genre, namely fiction. Adjoining the center of layout was dedicated to display three distinct kinds of volume including art, hobbies and cookery. Nevertheless, during the time, these three genres are relocated to where fiction shelves were; as a result art, hobbies, cookery and fiction are sharing the same portions in the north space, respectively. In the interim, the vacant position is taken up by three sets of round tables and chairs and below them is the appearance of a cafe which was formerly the area of non-fiction. Besides, the other sections for fiction books are shifted into non-fiction ones.
Apart from the modifications, some parts of the layout remain intact consist of an entrance on the left-hand side of the bookstore, a travel and new books sections in front of the entrance. It is also similar to a service desk on the right hand corner below the new books.
