The maps below show the city of Eastminster in 1999 and 2009.
The maps illustrate significant changes in the layout of Eastminster city from 1999 to 2009.
Overall, between 1999 and 2009, the city became more industrialized with the transformation of woodland to a park and an upgrade of infrastructure such as housing and factories.
In the Northeast part of the city, the park was reduced by half in 2009 compared to that of ten years before. However, the number of houses near the park doubled in a 10-year period. Another significant change was the conversion of woodland to an adventure park, which meant the area was transformed from green space to an amusement park for entertainment purposes. Moreover, near the Northern side of the river used to have a large house with gardens, but in 2009, it was completely upgraded to a hotel with golf courses.
In the Southern area of the city, there used to be nothing along the railway station until factories and warehouses were constructed in 2009. Moreover, the streets of houses and a public garden to the Eastern side in 1999 were redeveloped to apartment blocks and houses after ten years. Also, the school was relocated in 2009 to make way for a shopping complex and the hospital was extended to fulfill the needs of citizens.
