The diagram and form illustrate the factors to cause the reducing productive of agricultural land as well as deliver the proportion of land degradation in three north america, europe and oceania between 1990 and 2000.
It can be clearly seen that europe was seriously region affected by total land degraded. Overall, the reasons of degradation were usually about over-grazing, over-cultivation and deforestation.
The percentage of over-grazing was highest with 35%, which was worse than deforestation as it was 30%. Over-cultivation was lower than deforestation by 2%, with 28%. The remained part was for other factors.
In north america, there was a slightly influence for the land because of the total land degraded was 5% only, moreover, the deforestation in north america was 0.2%, that was better than europe with 9.8%. moreover, the proportion of over-cultivation was also confused at 7.7%, these two parts were the highest between three countries. Therefore, The total land degraded was 23% naturally. In oceania, the amazing part was about 0% over-cultivation, while the 11.3% of over-grazing was the biggest, and the finally land degraded was recorded with 13%.
