Overall, it can be seen that the highest percentage in the Japan was other goods and services whilst housing in the Malaysia while the most lowest trend was health care in the Japan and Malaysia.
​In 2010, the most highest household expenditures in Japan was other goods and services which stood at 29% while in Malaysia was housing which market 34%. Followed by the second highest of both of contries was food which noted at 24% in Japan whilst in Malaysia which market at 27%. Then it was followed by the third highest was housing which stood at 21% in Japan while in Malaysia was other goods and services which was standing 26%. Next it was followed by the fourth highest of both of contries was transport which was 20% in Japan whilst in Malaysia which was 10%. Finally, the most lowest of both of contries was health care which stood at 6% in Japan whilst in Malaysia which was 3%.
