The charts illustrate shifts in the proportion of online shopping sales categorized by four different items: travel, film and music, books, and clothes between 2003 to 2013.
It is apparent that while the figure for books and film, and music had an upward trend, the opposite was true in clothes and travel. Besides, film and music, and travel were dominant throughout this period.
Moving to a more detailed analysis, travel sales were in vogue among New Zealand residents in 2003, with 36%, compared to those in clothes products, at 24%. However, both figures declined dramatically in 2013 to 29% and 16% respectively.
According to the pie chart, in terms of the books category accounted for 19% in 2003 and later increased sharply by 3% in 2013. Finally, film and music were the third item which occupied a mere 21% in 2003. Afterward, in 2013 witnessed an enormous rise to become the main product in New Zealand, standing at 33%.
