I will talk about special building
Mot Cot Pagoda was built in 1049, under the Ly Dynasty. In 1954 before the French withdrew from Hanoi, they destroyed the pagoda. Our state restored in early 1955, now in the middle of Mot Cot Pagoda Street.
Mot Cot Pagoda, also known as Dien Huu or Lien Hoa Dai, is located in the overall national special relic area of the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Compared with the size and form of the Ly - Tran dynasty, One Pillar Pagoda has changed a lot, but the most architectural style is still the basic architecture. The pagoda has a square structure of 3m in each direction, made of wood, open frontage, the other 3 sides are made of wooden planks. The whole architecture of the temple is built on a cylindrical stone pillar. Stone pillar consists of 2 blocks attached to each other, seeming at first glance as a block. The upper body of the pillar has 8 wooden wings that look like a blooming lotus, attached to 8 columns of the temple (4 large columns and 4 auxiliary columns)
This is a temple of great historical value that needs to be preserved.
