The change in persons attending cinemas through a week in an European nation in from 2003 to 2007 is displayed in the bar chart, shown in percentage.
Overall, the rate of cinema attendees in weekend in two countries of the UK was higher than it in weekdays. However, all figures experienced an upward trend during the aforementioned time scales, with some changes.
Initially, on Monday, there were only one in ten of people watching movies in cinema in 2003, being lower than those in two years later, which the rate almost reached at 15%. When it came to the last period, it decreased by approximately 2% on the same day. Throughout weekdays, it increased to share a similar proportion on Friday at mostly a third, observed in all years.
Eventually, all periods saw a peak on Saturday to exceed two fifths, except in the initial year which was slightly lower than that rate. Furthermore, on Sunday, the proportion of cinema visitors in 2003 decreased to 30%, followed by them in the next two years to more than a third, and those in 2007 declined to be about 32%.
