The table provides information about expanses of consumer on three variety of categories in five various countries, namely; Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey in 2002. Each category is given in percentage.
Overall, the majority of consumers spend particularly on Food/Drinks/Tobacco category compared to others. It is worth to take into consideration that the largest expanses were spent by Turkey citizens on food related category, whereas Sweden's consumers were the most economical individuals with the lowest proportion of expedinture.
According to the data, citizens of Turkey was not only active consumers solely on food related category, but also they were so active on leisure and education related category with 4.35%. Likewise, as the lowest proportion of spendings by costumers was seen in Sweden on food related with 15.77% as well as clothing categories that accounted for 5.40% except for leisure and education category.
The proportion for clothing/footwear led by Italy. Primarily, Italy showed the highest percentage with 9.00%, whereas, some countries even did not reach 7% and with regard to Sweden which presented a merely 5.40%. a
