The given table shows data about expenditure which residents in five nations spend on four different items in 2002.
In general, consumers in all five countries spent the highest proportion of their money on food, drinks, tobacco and significantly less on clothing, footwear and leisure, education.
Ireland and Turkey spent the most percentage of their expenditure on food, drinks and tobacco with 32.14% and 28.91% respectively, higher than Italy, Spain and Sweden who spent under 19% on these items.
Italy is the nation which spent most on clothing and footwear with 9% while around 6% is the proportion of spending in the other countries. On the other hand, the lowest expenditure was on leisure and education. Turkey spent most at 4.35% while Ireland spent just 2.21% of their wages. Both Italy and Sweden paid for these items fell over 3%. The nation spent least on leisure and education and was Spain with only 1.98%.
