A striking feature of the table is that both Samsung and apple enjoyed a significant rise in their sales from 117 sets in 2006 and 2.3 sets in 2007 to 396.5 million and 135.8 million in 2012 respectively. As can be seen from table Samsung’s numbers were much greater than Apples numbers over the period given. The most notable feature was that Nokia maintained its popularity to the most throughout of the period with its peak in 2008 when 475 million mobile phones were sold out. Finally Nokia secured second highest position with 335 millions of sets in 2012.Ericsson’s sales decreasing steeply from 95 million in 2008 to 28 million in 2012 after souring from 74 million in 2006 to 102 million in 2007. Motorola was second biggest producer of cell phones in 2006 with sells of 210 million of mobiles, however, in next years experienced significant dropped in sales to 28 million in 2012, same as Ericsson.
